The third edition of our Pharmacy Technician Lesson Plans are finally here!
We have worked hard alongside pharmacy professionals and experienced educators in the field to ensure this edition would be the best yet. The newly released edition is redesigned and improved, making it perfect for labs and classroom settings.
Our new lesson plans include separate copies for instructors and learners. The instructor’s copy includes lesson objectives and setup, the learner assignment, and instructor notes to help ease already tedious instructor workloads. Providing instructors with structured, preformatted lessons eliminates the need to create lessons and activities in advance, saving valuable time.
The learner’s booklet includes lab introductions, terms and definitions, learner objectives and instructions, and are followed up with an activity and evaluation, following a format that many instructors utilize to setup labs.
“The newest edition of the Pharmacy Tech program is so user friendly and works great with the added medications for your SimCabRx™. Each lesson comes with a brief introduction, terms, and step by step guidance to help your students work through the assignments. Bonus this year is the instructor manual with scenarios, notes, and answer keys.”
As before, our newly designed Pharmacy Technician Lesson Plans align with our Automated Dispensing System technology (SimCabRx™ Standard Pharmacy or SimCabRx™ Extended Pharmacy), mirroring what learners will encounter in typical pharmacy settings, and enabling both instructors and learners to collaborate on the important aspects of medication dispensation, reporting, and patient safety.
Pharmacy Technician Lesson Plans will help instruct learners in gaining the skills and practice needed to fulfill future tasks as pharmacy technicians through various teaching methods, including hands-on training, and activities.
Through these Pharmacy Technician Lesson Plans, learners are sure to become highly skilled pharmacy technicians, improving patient outcomes and saving lives.
